Erika Yanovich

Erika is the Manager of the Technical Documentation Department for RAD Data Communications, Tel Aviv

Focussing mostly on hardware data communications her scope of work includes:

1. Maintaining more than 1000 publications (data sheets and manuals), managed using an internally developed management tool, published on a variety of media (print, CD, web)
2.  Providing graphic services for the entire organization

Her departmental resources include three  teams (2 writing, 1 graphics and media), and subcontractors, with a budget of 0.5 M$/year.

Tools and methods of work include: MS Office, CorelDraw, Visio, Acrobat, QuarkXpress, DreamWeaver, FireWorks, Flash, etc., style guides, standards, procedures, template suites.

Future plans: more CDs, CBT, truly task-oriented documentation, from publications-oriented writing to content development.

Yosef Buckley

Yosef Buckley has worked in IT for 18 years. Prior to managing technical communications at Crystal Systems Solutions, he gained experience as a programmer/analyst and technical communicator in a variety of environments, including OS/390 mainframe, UNIX workstation, and PC (Mac and IBM).

Danny Goldman

Danny Goldman is the Manager of Hever Technical Writing and Documentation LTD. He has a Master's Degree in Engineering, and has worked and studied both in Israel and the USA. In the last seven years Danny was involved in a large number of Technical Documentation projects with various firms.

Hever Technical Writing services include turnkey TC projects, TC placement, and now performing TC projects by an in-house team of TC's in Raanana.

Steve Wade

Steve Wade is the Director Recruitment Services at In Other Words. From South Africa, he is a Qualified Production Engineer and Plastics Technologist. Steve has worked as a Production/Industrial Engineer, Management consultant and the General Manager of  Parts and Accessories for two major motor vehicle distributors. He also has 10 years experience as Personnel/Administration Manager for the Data Communications and Business Communications Divisions of Standard Telephones and Cables (STC South Africa. A subsidiary of company ITT America) and was responsible for writing Training Manuals and Job Specifications.

Steve emigrated to Israel 1970. He took the  In Other Words 2nd TW course about 4.5 years ago and joined their staff as Recruitment Manager 3 years ago.
