Salaries of Technical Communicators in Israel

Results of the 2000 salary survey, first posted in 2001

The STC Israel is pleased to provide you with the  results  of the Salary Survey 2000 conducted between September and October. The original survey gathered data covering the work environment, demographics, salaries, benefits, perks and gratuities. To give you an idea of the quality of the data acquired, we are pleased to provide you with this downloadable PDF file listing the median salaries.

Why do we stress "median"? Because there is a wide range - you will be interested in the high  and low ranges. Location, gender (!), years of experience and educational background all contribute to the salary of technical communicators. What this boils down to is that there is a lot more information that will help you determine what to expect from your employer.

The results of this survey were presented on 19 December 2000 at the ZOA House in Tel Aviv. During this event a distinguished moderated PANEL, comprising represenatives from Document Management, Employment and Training companies, and Technical Communicators, discussed the Survey Results from their different perspectives.
